You should always reserve your moving date as soon as possible, especially if you are moving during the peak summer months. Another thing to keep in mind is that weekend reservations tend to fill up more quickly than weekdays.
Advice is always free, and we do offer free in-home consultations & estimations to better assess your needs on larger moves.
We’ll blanket wrap all furniture in your home before loading it into the moving van. This is to prevent any potential knicks or scrapes during handling and transport within the truck. Upon arriving at the destination, all furniture is carried into your new home, and only unwrapped once it is positioned in place.
Yes, we can move your BBQ, but we are strictly forbidden to carry any containers with flammable liquids (pressurized or liquid) or any type of explosive material.
All local moves are on a COD basis. We do require a $100 reservation deposit upon setting your move date. No other charges are applied until the end of the move except for the agreed upon hourly rate by signed contract at deposit. At the end of your move, the applicable hours (and additional services only if requested) are tallied, the initial deposit is deducted, and applicable taxes are calculated to the final total. The total amount is then due. We accept cash, Visa or Mastercard for payment.
Sadly we are not permitted to do any electrical or plumbing work other than a simple plug in. Let’s be honest – it’s not likely you would want your plumber to move your furniture, and vice versa. If you do not have access to a professional we can help assist you in sourcing a provider. It’s always important to have these things pre-arranged before & after the move takes place. We can easily pack, crate & transport a 20ft chandelier, but we cannot disconnect it or lower it.
