Advice is always free, and we offer complimentary in-home consultations & estimations to assess your needs for larger moves.
We’ll blanket wrap all furniture in your home before loading it into the moving van. This is to prevent any potential nicks or scrapes during handling and transport. Upon arriving at the destination, all furniture is carried into your new home and unwrapped only when it is positioned in place.
Yes, we can move your BBQ. We are strictly forbidden from transporting any flammable or explosive materials, such as propane tanks, even when the barbecue tank has been purged.
All local moves are conducted on a cash-on-delivery basis. When you book your move date, we require a $100 reservation deposit. No additional charges will be applied until the end of the move, except for the hourly rate agreed upon in the signed contract.
After your move, we tally the hours worked, along with any additional services you requested. From the total, we deduct the initial $100 deposit and apply any necessary taxes to determine the final amount due. Payment can be made in cash or by Visa or Mastercard.
Unfortunately, we are not permitted to perform any electrical or plumbing work beyond a simple plug-in installation. If you do not have access to a professional, we can help you source a provider. It’s always important to have these services pre-arranged before & after the move takes place. We can easily pack, crate & transport a 20ft chandelier, but we cannot disconnect it or lower it.
